I think you explained ‘why’ perfectly, and even not knowing what ‘her’ is the way you do, it’s obvious that this is a beautiful, natural photo. There always seems to me to be a difference between taking a photo and really capturing a moment, you’ve clearly got the latter here.
She has a lovely look on her face! Very natural, just gorgeous.
