One of the things I do love about living on this big flat wide open plain. With its slight unnerving lack of hills, is the skies.
And more importantly the clouds. Sadly my photography doesnโ€™t even come close to capturing the amazing shapes of cloud we get. But I tried today as we had the funny little cotton wool ball/alien spaceship clouds, just hanging about in the big blue above us. That and the huge big nearly full moon.

  1. I’ve never seen round clouds like these, I guess sky looks different in the south of the planet!!! you catch the sky perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you – apparently they are called Lenticular clouds. We don’t see them all that often, they are SO cool.

  2. Beautiful skies, I know what you mean about not capturing them as you’d like, I never feel my nature photography comes close to the real thing, but your sky photography, however much not the real thing, is always very impressive. And apparently there’s an official cloud shape watching day in April sometime!

  3. Wow, stunning photos. I can just imagine what it must have been like in person. I love cloud watching ๐Ÿ™‚
