My camera is winging it way back to me via a courier company. Hopefully they can avoid trashing it en route. I am joyful.

In other news Autumn appears to have arrived over night. No seriously. Its here. Ive cracked out merino layers, thermal socks and big pouffy body warmers. The cats are on the hearth. I’m thinking of soups and baking bread. Boom. Bye bye summer.

Excuse the collage. Odd colour casts on the images. And utter randomness. Toasty fruit bread and warm socks, biking, homemade bread, wrapped up warm but determined to wear a pretty skirt; funky tights cur tasty of nana. hot buttered fresh bread – oh so good. With home made bolognese.

  1. Yay for getting your camera back. That is awesome! We here are getting a little tired of the soups, it has been a long winter.

  2. Hurray, that’s great news! Just shows, people are normally wonderful. Hope you get a few more Summer days, that all seems a bit too fast. I really struggle with the change from Summer to Autumn. Is Autumn lovely over there? Mists and mellow fruitfulness and all that? And this might be a silly question, but do you get lots of trees that have the gorgeous leaf colours in the Autumn? I sort of associate evergreens more with New Zealand.

  3. Is it bad that the thought of being without my camera makes me a little jittery and nervous? Sending good wishes for it’s speedy, safe return!

    1. Not bad at all, I hate it – although the 8 weeks between leaving it on the yacht in Fiji and it arriving here in mother in laws luggage on her visit to see us out here was probably the worst. At least that time I knew where it was (with lovely family)!
